Pattumala Church

Pattumala Matha Church is a Roman Catholic Latin Rite pilgrim shrine in Kerala dedicated to Our Lady of Good Health. It is set in an unbelievable position on the top of a hill surrounded by tea plantation of Pattumalay Tea Estate, which just makes it the ideal place for photographs. Winter seems a better time as the weather at this pretty hill station is extremely pleasant. Trucking is also possible here.

Pine Forest

The Pine Forest has become one of the most famous sightseeing attractions due to the enjoyable atmosphere around Vagamon. While travelling to Pine forest we can take nature walks through the tall pine trees, capturing amazing photographs, inhale fresh air and get an opportunity to mingle with earth. During summer this place act as a natural air conditioned one there by anyone can refresh their mind and body too.

Ammachi Kottaram,Kuttikkanam

Located near Peermade, Kuttikkanam in the Idukki district of Kerala. It was a small summer retreat palace developed by erstwhile Maharaja of Travancore for his wife. The palace was known as Ammachi Kottaram, the palace was built upon the ghat at Glenrock Estate and was opened by J D Munro. Its a very famous and one of the historical place in Idukki district. The palace consists of 2 secret passages. These passages has a secret and historical usage. One secret passage is used for the movement within palace by the royal peoples and their servants and the other secret passage is used to travel to the Sree Krishna Temple in Peermade. But that passage is now closed for some other security reasons.

Parumthum Para

Parunthumpara is a village in Idukki District of Kerala. It is a small location full of greenery near Wagamon route to Peerumedu. Local peoples named this location as Parunthin Para. From here, we can victim the Makarajyothi of Sabarimala temple. The main attractions of Parunthumpara are Suicide Point and Tagor Head. It is a Beautiful place in Idukki.

Panchali Medu

Panchalimedu is a hill station and a beautiful view point near Kuttikkanam in Peerumedu of Idukki district in Kerala. This place chosen by many Ayyappa devotees to camp here for watching, the sacred Makaravilakku that appears in the Ponnambalamedu near Sabarimala temple on Makar Sankranti day as a part of their belief. Presently there is a Hindu temple and a Christian shrine at the two extreme hills. And a grave of peer Muhammed was also there.

Vagamon Kurishumala

Kurishumala hill is a Christian pilgrimage center in Vagamon. People move to this mountain in search of peace of mind and of God-experience. Apart from that, this is also an excellent trekking site in Vagamon. Those who have proper health can climb the mountain and enjoy the marvellous adventures experience of trekking. The starting point known as Kallillakavala which is the base of kurishumala .As you trek up, there are 14 crosses that is known as 'Way of the cross' at regular intervals on the hill. There is a small church on top. The view from the top is really erratic and beyond our expectations. The cool and fresh breeze at the top will take away all the tiredness of trekking. At the end of trekking you will get a gratification of both spiritual reconciliation as well as thrilling exploitation of footslogging.
